Prescott AZ, Willow Lake

Here are some pics from my Willow Lake hike.....and yes we are still at the dealership, still working on the same major problem.  When we do finally leave, it will be to spend time near Gemma and Kerry while we are waiting for parts to be sent here.  Then we will have to come back to have them installed. OK, it can't all be fun;)  We will, however, have another big story to tell.

the lake is full of wildlife right now

beautiful markings on the rocks

tons of grasshoppers and look at the size of this one!

Prescott AZ, still at Affinity RV

Day three of our ordeal at the dealership;)  They cannot find/fix a problem with our emergency brake light coming on and chiming for no reason.  We had 20 items on the list and they have taken care of about half but....here we sit.

I did sneak away today for a hike to Willow Lake and will put pics of this beautiful place on tomorrow.  In the meantime, let's finish Vegas with a drive down the strip:

Prescott AZ, more Fremont St.

We are in Prescott, AZ, awaiting service on Paradise.  Affinity RV will be going through our motorhome starting at about 9 this morning to assess what they can do and what they will need to send away for.  In the meantime, here are some more pics from Fremont St. in Vegas.  These are mostly from what is now called Fremont Street East.  The city has been trying to get more tourists at this end of the street.  It has several old neon signs that have been restored and put on display there:

this is not an old sign;), they actually have a large scale out front to see if you qualify for the over 350......ugh!:)

of course, there are limos everywhere

Las Vegas, Fremont Street and moving on

We leave Vegas tomorrow morning for Prescott, AZ where we will have some warranty issues attended to on our motorhome, including, but not limited to, that emergency brake chime;).  We may not have any internet while there but should only be there 2-3 days as parts will have to be ordered.  While waiting for the parts we will be in Phoenix near my sister, Gemma and her husband, Kerry.  We have already made reservations at a park near them for a week and will see how it goes.

In the meantime, here are some pics I took last night on Fremont Street downtown.  It was a fun evening as there were 3 bands playing there on different stages and all kinds of interesting people to see as well as the artist vendors selling their wares:

the Fremont Street Experience is pretty amazing
