Big Horn Sheep at Carlsbad
On our way to Carlsbad Caverns we had to drive through hills. Rounding one of those hills I saw a sheep on the next hill over across a ravine. When Mike pulled over, we got to witness a most amazing sight!! Several sheep came out of these small caves in the hillside including babies!!! These caves are obviously their home and they were just coming out to start the day:
