Another large bird visiting the area this time of the year is the Roseate Spoonbill. I was hoping we would be able to see some of these birds as they are bright pink and very interesting looking. We were not disappointed as we found several at the Port Aransas Nature Preserve along with several other water birds and two very large resident alligators!

We haven't made it far enough South to see the spoonbills yet...so I get to live vicariously through you! Gators too!
