I did actually wear the bandana for the hike because the smoke was/is still so bad in this area from the wild fires. |

Hagerman ID, Emigrant Trl
We drove out the the Fossil Bed National Monument. There are no fossils visible there. What has been excavated is in a small museum in Hagerman which we have not seen yet. We drove out to the fossil beds to go hiking. Not a real scenic hike but a good walk and it followed the old emigrant trail (read the sign in the pic):
