Topock AZ, Excursion to Oatman AZ

Those of you from this area know of Oatman where the donkeys roam the streets looking for tourists with carrots and cowboys have shoot outs in the streets.  They call it the ghost town that never dies.  We stopped on the way to check out the bushes along the sides of the road decorated for the holidays. They actually have a decorating contest.
As you can see, it was a beautiful day, crisp, but good colors.  We enjoyed walking around the shops.

My next blog will probably be written from Apache Junction, AZ,  as that is where we are headed on Monday. We will be there for 2 months.  New adventures await!

We have really enjoyed our stay with Joni and Al and hope to be doing some traveling with them someday!  Many thanks to them for their hospitality.  We will be keeping in close touch!

I'm having trouble uploading all the pics I want for this post so will put more pics up when we get to Apache Junction:)

Very touching, unfortunately the little tree blew over from some nasty winds

drove over to Laughlin for a short walk near Davis Dam on the Colorado River

That is Bullhead city, AZ, across the river
