Star Pass Trl

We are so fortunate!  Now we are in Tucson having fun with friends Lisa and Hans.  Yesterday we walked the Star Pass Trail just a few miles from here at the Diamond J RV Park in southwest Tucson. It was lovely, a very nice varied trails with a few crested saguaro thrown in along the way for good measure!

Hieroglyphics Trail

Joni, Al, Mike and I did this pretty little trail yesterday.  Mike and I have done it before and enjoyed it just as much this time.  There are hundreds of petroglyphs at this site and the scenery is awesome!

Today we enjoyed our last day together with Joni and Al.  We drove to historic downtown Mesa, had lunch, walked around a bit and then enjoyed a beer at the Desert Eagle Brewing Co.

Tomorrow we leave for Tucson where we will meet up with friends Lisa and Hans for a week!

Superstitions with Cathy

Mike's cousin, Cathy, lives here in Apache Junction and yesterday we went hiking with Cathy!  Took another trail in the Superstitions and had yet another wonderful hike.  Then yesterday evening we joined Cathy and husband, Pat, at their lovely home for dinner.  Always nice to see them!
