Apache Junction, Wind Cave Trl

We are back in AJ after a whirlwind drive to Quartzite for the RV show, Fontana, CA,  to help/see Paul and then Prescott, AZ where, we did in fact, order our new motorhome!  Quite a weekend!!

Quartzite was not as helpful as we had hoped but we did get a little out of it.  It was a good thing we went to see Paul as he was in need of quite a bit of last minute help and we were able to contribute a little.  He is now, en-route to Turkey to join his fiancĂ©, Pnar and we are all very happy for them.

If anyone is interested in seeing what our new motorhome will look like, check out the 2012 Winnebago Sightseer 33C on line.  We should have it in about 2 months!

Below are pics from a hike to the Wind Cave on Pass Mtn. we did last week with Cathy!

Apache Junction, Ontario CA

Yep, we are in Ontario for the moment.  We went to the RV Show in Quartzite on Thurs and then drove out to see my brother Paul for  couple of days before he leaves tomorrow for Turkey.  Turns out we were able to help him out a little bit by visiting so that worked well.  We were also happy to attend a farewell party for Paul and a lot of folks showed up that I was happy to see again and/or got to meet.  That was fun.

We were not able to get on the internet on Friday and yesterday was just too darn busy:)  Today we head back to AZ but will be visiting Prescott again where we may, finally, be ordering our new motorhome!  We will see.  It does look good though.

Last Monday, Mike and I went to the Riparian Preserve in Gilbert where we saw lots of water fowl and migrating birds...it was great!

Apache Junction, Another Superstition Hike

This mountain is just so convenient.....and so striking.  Just a nice hike with some clouds.  Good valley views.

Tomorrow we head off for an adventure.  First to Quartzite for an RV show,  really big show.  Then over to see Paul for a couple of days before he leaves for Turkey on Monday to be with his fiance, Pnar.  I'm so happy for them and, of course, a little sad I won't have my bro near.

Eisenhower State Park, Kansas

We are enjoying our 3 week stay here at Eisenhower State Park  in northeast Kansas.  Another large lake, Melvern Lake, and beautiful scenic ...
