Apache Junction, Scenic Route 88

What a great day Wednesday was!  We drove out Route 88, a scenic byway, and it was scenic indeed!  Beautiful country.  The road takes one to Roosevelt Dam and half the drive, about 26 miles, is dirt road but well graded.  Along the way we passed, and stopped at, Canyon Lake and Apache Lake not to mention Tortilla Flats;)  This will be a 2 day pic show due to the surprise and huge bonus we came across after Roosevelt Dam.......tomorrow you'll see.
