On the Road Again!

After 3 1/2 months in Washington enjoying family we are headed south for the winter;)

As usual, I  throughly enjoyed the wildlife I saw daily in Woodland, mostly birds of prey.  This year was an exceptional year for hawks. I just wish I was better at identifying them.  Here are a few of my favorite pics of birds of prey.  Obviously absent  from this group are bald eagles.  They moved out of the area early in the season.

Osprey with catch

an osprey and falcon in the same tree!

Got my lunch, where is yours?

Kestrel

Coopers or Sharp Shinned?  So hard to tell the diff!!

Ferruginous, I think:)

this hawk wants the raven to leave the area and the raven isn't budging
