Buescher State Park, TX
12 miles past Bastrop and Bastrop SP is Buescher SP. Very similar to Bastrop in terrain, it boasts a nice sized lake as well. The fire spared most of this park so it was a different hiking experience. We did see the usual suspects though with a new addition...a Black Vulture! Had not seen one before.
Love this mossy looking growth!
