Yuma AZ, Picacho State Park

Picacho State Park is just across the border in CA at the end of 18 miles of dirt road and right on the Colorado River.  It turned out to be what I now call a Chiricahua  moment.  Chiricahua was the national monument we visited last winter in so. AZ that we thought would be a quickie, just so we could check it off our list.  Turned out to be amazing and a day long adventure!

Picacho has more different colors of soil than I have ever seen in one area.  What a beautiful area, right on the water and with a little history:

Yes, this time it's alive!  Finally, it's been a long time since I've seen one
