Apache Junction AZ, Omaha, Painted Rock

Even though Paradise is in Apache Junction right now and so is Mike, I am visiting Jared, Jen and Allie in Omaha through the 28th.

Spent the day alone with Allie who just turned 2!  Got to crawl around on the carpet and pretend like i was a kid all over again!  They do keep you young!

This small site is located 20 miles west of Gila Bend, AZ.  One of those places along the main travel route for the Hohokam Indians, they, along with other travelers since then, left their marks on this pile of rocks.  The place is called Painted Rock but there is no paint of any kind involved, it is a petroglyph site:
