On to San Antonio....

We drove south to San Antonio, TX, today but I must wrap up Stonewall/Fredericksburg.  We had a nice week there after the first couple days of cold rain.  Visited several wineries, got in a little hiking, browsed Fredericksburg with the other tourists...

We visited LBJ State Park which includes a working ranch where the folks dress in period clothes and then toured The Texas Whitehouse on LBJs ranch.  Very interesting, LBJ spent over a quarter of his presidency working from the ranch:

Becker Winery....yep, that's right Joyce, Linda and Jane;)

This next winery, Woodrose, was our favorite.  The wines were good and the prices were acceptable.

Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park was another stop with a small nature hike but a nice day!

Some fun old buildings in Fredericksburg:

If you got hungry looking in all the shops, you could stop at this store and taste hundreds of different sauces, dips, oils, vinegars, olives, etc., to your stomachs content and then buy them if you so desired

We enjoyed a beer here at the Silver Creek Cafe outside while listening to a guitarist:

Last wind stop of the week:
