Turtleback Mtn Trl

Turtleback Mtn. Trl. is "only" just over 4 miles roundtrip.  However, it climbs 2,000 feet in elevation.  yes that is 1,000 feet per mile.  In addition, we read it was steep, and, all loose rock!  Sooo, we figured we would try it and do what we could.  We made it a little over half way but had a great time, the view was awesome and yes, my legs felt a little like jelly after we descended;)

See the trail and the rock?  It was like that the whole way!
