Woolaroc Ranch, Bartlesville, OK

We are in Bartlesville, OK, for a week visiting good friends, Becky and Mike, whom we knew from living in Las Vegas!  They moved out here a few months ago and the timing turned out right for us to visit them on our way south for the winter.

Today they took us out to visit Woolaroc Ranch.  Frank Phillips (of Phillips 66 gas) built this beautiful ranch to entertain investors in his company back in the day.  He brought in wildlife from around the globe to roam freely on the grounds and eventually built a beautiful museum featuring Indian and Western art.  It is quite a place and the museum is top notch.

There is a 2 mile drive through the wildlife park before arriving at the museum...
