We drove over to Elgin, AZ to check out the local grape growing region and wineries the day after Chiracahua Natl Mon. Again, you can't compare any of these wines to the CA wines and shouldn't. Wines made in these areas are boutique wines, there may just be a few barrels of each one produced. We did find a couple we liked.
The Dos Cabezas winery had the honor of having one of their wines served at the White House for Sandra Day OConnor. What a kick that must have been!
The ghost town of Fairbanks was more intact than most as it is managed now by the BLM.
A picture journal of our (Keyna and Mikes') adventures in Paradise (our motorhome) as we travel the USA.
