Soledad Area of the Organ Mtns

Today was cold! So cold for us that we drove up to the Organ Mountains to do a hike and after a short walk we had to return to the car due to freezing temps with a breeze and Mike not being properly prepared;)  I saw enough on my little walk to appreciate the beauty of the area though!

It was very overcast most of the time also, hence the dark pics of the birds:

This is the next canyon over from the Soledad Area,  these mountains are beautiful!

On the way back into town we saw this nice painted water tank
