ABQ has a huge balloon festival each year so it is only fitting, of course, that they should have a balloon museum!  Again we did a tour with a docent and it was very informative, learning many things about the first hot air balloon to completions of around the world trips.  The museum also offers many different types of balloons and their purposes and roles in history!




before you actually use a balloon you should practice taking off in you glider from the bottom of your gondola  while attached to the Sandia tram.......of course.  this guy did not get to actually glide from his balloon as he had to ditch the glider before hand to lighten the load;)
