Cuyahoga National Park, OH

The Cuyahoga Valley NP preserves 33,000 acres along 22 miles of the Cuyahoga River between Akron and Cleveland, OH.  Deep forest, rolling hills and open farmlands along with Historic homes and barns dot the area.  There are several "units" to the park and we hiked a couple of small trails in different units and will make another trip out to the park before we leave.

This NP has a very different feel from the norm as it is so spread out along the valley and driving from one unit to the next will take you under freeways and turnpikes as they cross the valley overhead.  A different experience but very scenic area:
