No snow today or down here though;) The snow came down and looked real pretty up on the higher elevations on Dec 31st when we did this hike. It was a day cool enough to keep us moving. But what a beautiful hike! Look at the colors! This section of the BCT also had the greatest variety of cactus I've seen thus far.....and it was everywhere!
The first pics were taken at the beginning of the hike when it was dark and raining lightly. The last pics were taken at the end of the hike when the sun was trying to come out. What a difference, but still dramatic!
