Yuma AZ, Yuma Quartermaster Depot

Yuma has history!  One of the things I really enjoy about our traveling is learning more about the history of this great country.  We don't have much, but what we do have is always interesting.

We went to the local visitors center which turned out to be housed in the historic Yuma Quartermaster Depot.  Located right next to the Colorado River, the location of the Yuma Crossing, the Army depot played an important part in the settlement of the west.  Please read what you can in my pics for some more history!
