Pinery Canyon

Spent a lovely day driving over from the west side of the Chiricahuas through Pinery Canyon.  It is close to the national monument and looked inviting.  It was lovely also, of course!  We got into some snow as you can see;)

We drove over to the small town of Portal and back.  Just one small walk that day;)  Saw a flock of turkeys....big guys or gals!

  1. Pretty! I wish there were big-rig friendly rv parks closer to Chiricahua than Willcox.

  2. It sure would be nice Lisa! We don't really mind the drive but the campground at Chiricahua is really pretty!
