Here are pics of the last couple of days in the Arbor Vitae area:
We headed north on Hwy 51to look for a couple of waterfalls and stopped along the road at some cranberry bogs. The fields are just young plants with flowers now but we had a nice surprise when we saw a Sandhill Crane family working their way across the fields to the forest:

Pulled over on the side of the road to get a pic of a wild turkey family disappearing into the forest. How many babies can you see?
These little towns do like their big statues! This loon looks a bit scary !

In the dining room, you can eat while you look out windows shattered by bullets fired during the gun fight between the Dillinger gang and the FBI.

Good thing you said there were 5...I only saw 3 until you made me look again! Great shots of a beautiful area!
