Ridgefield WA, Istanbul, Topaki Palace

Had a lovely day here in Ridgefield, no rain. We went to the farmers market downtown, checked out a couple of wineries and I made reservations at the Riverfront RV Park where Mike and I will be staying in July in Paradise!

Meanwhile, here are some pictures of the Topaki Palace in Istanbul.  We were not allowed to take pictures in several of the buildings unfortunately.  So I have no pictures of the unbelievable jewels, I have never seen so many emeralds and rubies, or the armory or the rooms that held religious relics of the prophet Mohammad.

Nice views of the Bosporus from the palace

the smoke stacks are for the palace ovens!
