Hagerman ID, Thousand Springs State Park and alligators

Thousand Springs State Park lives up to it's name with springs and waterfalls bursting forth all along the basalt rock walls for a good stretch of the Snake River.  We had a nice time there today doing a trail and having a picnic in the park area.

The alligator pics were taken at a local fish farm.  They used to raise the gators for meat and leather there but stopped several years ago and now just keep some of the gators in a large pen.  Checking out the gators was one of the top ten things to do in Hagerman;)

We caught this guy enjoying his breakfast this morning
