Stormy Day Drive to West Yellowstone

Okay, not as dramatic as it sounds.  We had a very uneventful 3 hours of driving before hitting a thunderstorm on the MT287 heading into the hills:

I was busy keeping an eye on that rain cell ahead........

When we came up on some ranchers moving a herd on the side of the road.....
Back to the rain........
 Looking rather ominous..........
 But so beautiful.........
And then it was crazy for several minutes while we drove through the cell which was heavy rain and soft hail!  Look at the road!
And then we were out and heading into the hills with this beautiful lake.....

Mike going into the office at the Rustic Wagon RV Park in West Yellowstone to get our space

These guys were outside on a bird feeder
After getting settled in we walked about a mile to the Visitor Center
And decided on the way back to eat at the Buffalo Grill........complete with buffalo!
