Our third full day in Glacier we decided to tackle a 12 mile trail which enables one to see quite a bit of West Glacier! We started at Logan Pass at 6646 ft and topped out at 7240 before a steep decline to get us to the bottom of the trail where we had to take a tram back up to the pass for the truck. Actually, Lisa went to fetch the truck and then returned to pick us up on the way down.
The scenery is spectacular and we did see some interesting things! Today, I just want to try and convey a feel for the trail:
