Devils Backbone
We won't be seeing our friends till tomorrow so today we drove up to the Devils Backbone Trail in the foothills of the Rockies. We could not have gone further up the canyon due to the floods. There is still a lot of flooded land in the area.
We had a very nice hike checking out the interesting formations!
Not a good shot but I think that is an owl in this pic...
You can see why it is called the Devils Backbone!
Here I am standing right under a rock arch in the backbone. Kinda makes one wonder how the rocks stay this way!
