We headed to Mammoth Hot Springs today to walk around the springs of course, hike the Beaver Pond Trail, visit old Fort Yellowstone and then we drove a bit further up the road to a short hike to Wraith Falls. A full day to say the least!! Tonight I'm just going to show mostly pics of the springs as they were so beautiful. Maybe I can fit in the other things on our next "day off";)
We saw several bison and elk today. Got a wide eyed shot of this guy.
Stopped for a quick pic of Gibbon Falls on the way to Mammoth Springs
Some beautiful scenery.....
Arriving at Mammoth Springs. In the foreground is a long dormant geyser cone
The boardwalks helped us to get up close and personal with these beautiful formations!
A picture journal of our (Keyna and Mikes') adventures in Paradise (our motorhome) as we travel the USA.
